although I’m pleased at the news that the UK will be banning conversion therapy, I’m just as upset at how long this has taken us and how far we have left to go.
the number of countries that conversion therapy is still being practiced in is shocking. the acts that are being inflicted on people in our communities still to this day are unspeakable.
although this feels like a huge milestone, it highlights how much work there is left to do. we can’t stop fighting until we’re ALL free.
